Jacobus Systems (JSL) offers a tailored Spectral Analysis service suitable, for example, for Pharmaco-EEG (PEEG) studies. Each project typically includes the following steps:

• Negotiation of analysis details, data volume, timelines, etc.
• Transmission of data from client to JSL, e.g. by CD, DVD, email, FTP.
• Filtering, montaging.
• Spectral Analysis, averaging, etc.
• Creation of results files in format to suit client.
• Transmission of results from JSL to client, e.g. by CD, DVD, email, FTP.

The Spectral Analysis follows industry standards and is highly configurable, allowing for example any number of frequency bands to be defined, each with freely chosen start and stop frequencies. After averaging of the power spectra, summary statistics of different types may be defined using any chosen frequency bands.

In the results files, summary statistics may be freely combined with annotation columns reflecting, for example, study group, occasion and subject. The results files are typically created in a Comma-Separated Values (CSV) format, which may be readily opened in Microsoft Excel.
